Sibiu Contemporary Art Festival, at its beginnings
Having successfully organized over 10 exhibition events in the country and in the city of Sibiu, the Brukenthal von Studio Association aims to lay the foundations of a contemporary visual art festival in 2020. The aim is to involve a wide variety of active artists nationally and internationally, so that, in the long run, Sibiu Contemporary Art Festival / Sibiu Contemporary Art Festival becomes a new brand of Sibiu and the most important event in the country, in this niche.
The festival will take place annually, and the first edition will include 20 artists from all artistic backgrounds, from the country and from abroad. The exhibiting artists will be members of the Brukenthal von Studio Association and their official guests, chosen on the basis of competence and relevance.
Project co-financed by the City Hall of Sibiu through the Cultural Agenda.
