Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu is organizing the ninth edition of the "Researchers' Night" project on September 30-th. The event will take place in the "Lucian Blaga" University of Sibiu’s locations, with the involvement of more than 200 teachers, the staff of the "Lucian Blaga" University Library and volunteers who have been with us every year. 

The 2022 edition is organized in partnership with „Nicolae Bălcescu” Land Forces Military Academy, ASTRA National Museum Complex and the ASTRA County Library, institutions which have prepared special programs and will welcome the visitors in their library rooms, their conservation-restoration laboratories, and at the Military Circle. The events held on the last day of September are included in the Agendas of cultural events financed by the County Council, Sibiu City Hall, Sibiu Local Council and the Ministry of Education. Also, the 2018 - 2021 editions were on the European Commission's funding agenda through the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions under the Horizon 2020 Programme. "Researchers' Night" is also supported by the Project "Development of New and Emerging Technologies in the Context of Stimulating Research Excellence in ULBS- TEHNE" funded by the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digitalization through Programme 1 - Development of the National Research and Development System, Subprogramme 1.2 - Institutional Performance - Funding Projects for Excellence in R&D, Contract no. 28PFE/30.12.202. Using the field’s specific research methods, the academic community and volunteer students will challenge the public to a incursion into the world of literature, art, medical investigations (in the scientific sense), presentations of cutting-edge technologies, discoveries and useful applications in the industry and agriculture etc. There are being prepared workshops, scientific experiments, technical demonstrations and robot demonstrations. The programme also includes conferences on cultural and scientific topics, painting workshops, translation workshops and also journalism studio open to all. In each space made available to the public, a scientific field will reveal its secrets, either in the world of law, economics or theology. Exhibitions of heritage documents, book exhibitions, presentations of projects organized by "Lucian Blaga" University of Sibiu as a partner or in its own name.
