SCAF - Sibiu Contemporary Art Festival

This year, SCAF (Sibiu Contemporary Art Festival) kicks off on September 7 in Sibiu with the theme "Crossing Borders," emphasizing the concept of transcending boundaries—whether they are physical, cultural, artistic, or personal. 

► FiRMA will launch the event series with a special concert at the Ursuline Monastery, offering an alternative mix of rock, theater music, and selected poetry. 

► Entry will be through the main gate at 21 Șelarilor Street, starting at 8:30 PM. 

The event is free of charge.

► The SCAF Contemporary Art Festival in Sibiu is a lively and dynamic celebration of contemporary art that brings together artists, audiences, and communities from all over. 

► We make use of both indoor and outdoor alternative spaces in the city of Sibiu, as well as the spaces managed by the National Brukenthal Museum. 

The former Pedagogical College building, specifically the Ursuline Monastery on General Magheru Street, no. 36, will be transformed into an art hub, where contemporary artworks and installations will create a unique environment.
