 Tursib S.A. is the public transport company in Sibiu and serves both the residents of the Municipality of Sibiu and the residents of 9 other administrative-territorial units. The transport plan includes57 routes, organized into urban routes, metropolitan routes, professional routes, tourist routes and routes for students. FLEET The Tursib fleet consists of 162 electric, diesel and compressed gas buses, which travel over 57,000 km daily. They transport on average over 111,000 passengers per day. We use a modern fleet monitoring system that also allows the location of the buses to be viewed in real time. It can be accessed on our website or in the SibiuBus mobile application and also on the electronic displays in the stations. The buses are regularly sanitized, and our technicians work meticulously to ensure that they are in the best condition. They take care of the regular maintenance of the engines, electrical systems and bus bodies to ensure optimal operation and avoid any technical problems along the route. STATIONS AND FACILITIES Tursib buses stop at the 510 stations. 166 of the stations are equipped with electronic displays that show the arrival time of the buses at the station and information announcements for passengers. Most buses are equipped with ramps to ensure accessibility for people with reduced mobility. In addition, the buses have special spaces intended for strollers, people with reduced mobility, pregnant women and elderly people. To ensure a high level of safety during journeys, all buses are equipped with a video monitoring system. The video cameras constantly monitor the interior and exterior of the buses, helping to prevent and resolve unpleasant situations. They also provide drivers with a view of the entire bus, facilitating the monitoring of passengers and checking compliance with safety rules and regulations by passengers.
