Snow removal activities during January 4-5
During Sunday, January 4, interventions were made on main arteries, roundabouts, intersections, on sloping and on-ramp roads to prevent the formation of ice. Also, throughout the day, 9 special vehicles intervened on the streets of the city's neighborhoods classified as priority 3, to remove snow and prevent ice.
In the evening, around 7 p.m., in the context of new snowfalls, 10 special vehicles went out into the field again to spread anti-skid material both on the main arteries and in the neighborhoods, in order of priority
Salt was also spread in Păltiniș to avoid the formation of ice, with a machine being permanently present in the resort.
On the night of January 4-5, the actions continued with 10 machines, both for clearing snow and for preventing the formation of ice by spreading anti-slip. Manual work was also carried out to clean stairs, bus stops, passages, pedestrian crossings and sidewalks.
The machines and teams will remain in the field in the following hours.
