The Magnus Öström & Andrii Pokaz concert, scheduled for September 3 in Sibiu, becomes part of the 54th edition of Sibiu Jazz Festival 2026 and moves to the Sibiu State Philharmonic – Thalia Hall.

And we have more good news: the evening will open with Sara Alden Trio, in a format similar to the Jazzambassaden concerts in Cluj-Napoca, Bucharest and Constanța. Sara Alden is one of the voices of the new generation of Swedish jazz and the winner of the 2025 Grammis Award for Jazz of the Year for her debut album, “There Is No Future”. At Thalia Hall, she will be joined by Alice Henrieta Hernquist on piano and Bjorn Daniel Rasmus Andersson Runevad on double bass.
