On September 5, Ulrich Drechsler brings one of the most energetic projects of the 54th edition to Thalia Hall. AZURE explores his own vision of club music, blending jazz, trip hop, trance, drum ‘n’ bass, electronic music, improvisation and cinematic sounds.

Joining Ulrich Drechsler are Oliver Steger and Matthäus Schnöll, in a trio built for energy, improvisation and, yes, dancing.

The evening will open with Equinox Quintet, winners of Sibiu Jazz Competition 2025, who return to Sibiu with energetic contemporary jazz, original compositions and influences ranging from jazz-rock fusion to hard bop and cool jazz.
