Being the main activity to popularize a broad cultural project, entitled Heritage Education, the exhibition entitled Archaeological Research in the Dacian Fortress of Tilișca - organized in July (6-31) of this year, in the courtyard of the Altemberger House History Museum within the Brukenthal National Museum from Sibiu - includes published and unpublished images from the archaeological campaigns carried out throughout time at this place. Measures to Revitalize and Protect the Dacian Fortress from Tilișca, a project carried out between June 20 - September 30, 2022, at the initiative of the Dacian Fortress Association Tilişca, with logistical support and co-financing Sibiu County Council - through the Cultural Agenda 2022 - and in partnership with the National Museum Brukenthal Tilişca Town Hall and Sălişte City Hall.
Thanks to this exhibition, but also a series of specific actions (organization of archaeology, painting and drawing camps, creative workshops, printing of catalogs and leaflets in Romanian / German / English, making a documentary film, etc.), under the coordination of a team of specialists (Gheorghe Vasile Natea PhD, Christian Kaiser, Maria Raluca Teodorescu PhD, Adrian Georgescu, Vasile Palaghie PhD, Sergiu - Mihail Chideșa, Florentin Perianu), this cultural edeavour is designed  to continue, on the one hand, the archaeological research of the Dacian fortress from Tilișca - whose national importance is underlined by classification, on the List of Historical Monuments in Romania, in category A - and on the other hand, in situ conservation, restoration and capitalization / putting in value of the elements with historical value.
