The exhibition entitled Archaeological research in the Dacian fortress of Tilișca - organized between August 16 and November 30 this year, at the Museum of History - Altemberger House, within the Brukenthal National Museum Sibiu, starting at 12 o'clock - includes archaeological pieces and edited images and unique, during the archaeological campaigns carried out in this objective over time, constituting as the main popularization activity of a large cultural project, entitled Education for heritage. Measures to revitalize and protect the Dacian Citadel from Tilișca, project carried out between June 20 and October 30, 2023, at the initiative of the Tilișca Dacian Citadel Association, with the logistical support and co-financing of the Sibiu County Council - through the cultural agenda 2023 - and in partnership with the National Museum Brukenthal, Tilişca Town Hall and Sălişte Town Hall.

Under the coordination of a group of specialists (Gheorghe Vasile Natea PhD, Christian Kaiser, Maria Raluca Teodorescu PhD, Adrian Georgescu, Sergiu Mihail Chideșa, Florentin Perianu, Ecaterina Natea), the respective cultural endeavor is designed in such a way that, thanks to the present exhibition - but also a series of specific actions (the organization of archaeology, painting and drawing camps, creative workshops, the printing of catalogs, etc.) - to be able to continue, on the one hand, the archaeological research of the Dacian citadel from Tilișca - to whose national importance is underlined by its inclusion, on the List of Historical Monuments in Romania, in category A - and on the other hand, the in situ conservation, restoration and valorization/enhancement of elements with historical value.
