Born in 1985, Mihaela Noroc is a graduate of the National University of Arts in Bucharest. As a photographer, Mihaela Noroc has been working on the Atlas of Beauty project for over 10 years. So far, she has photographed more than two thousand women in almost 100 countries.

In all these years, Mihaela Noroc has accumulated more than 1.5 million followers on social networks where she frequently shares the portraits taken. Over time, Mihaela Noroc has been interviewed by prestigious media institutions such as BBC, CNN, TIME, The Guardian or Der Spiegel. The Atlas of Beauty project took shape, in 2017, in the form of a photographic album. The Atlas of Beauty album has been published so far on 3 continents in many languages, such as: English, German, Chinese, Japanese and Romanian. The album has sold over 150,000 copies to date. Mihaela Noroc presented her project in several individual exhibitions in major cities of the world, we mention New York, Mihaela Noroc's exhibition was hosted by the UN headquarters. Mihaela's exhibitions were also present in cities such as Berlin, London, Paris or Seoul.

Since 2021, Mihaela Noroc lives in Sibiu. She travels frequently to various corners of the world, continuing to work on the Atlas of Beauty project and preparing for her second photographic album.

As part of the exhibition project, you will have the opportunity to participate in several guided tours in the presence of the author in the following days:

• June 10, 2023, 11:30 a.m., guided tour for children

• June 17, 2023, 4:30 p.m. guided tour for adults

• July 1, 2023, 4:30 p.m., meeting and discussion with the author.
